re-live!!

I was looking for some colour, but the Olive Green guy had a surprise
like always
I met him with that big broad smile! There i was....
Astonished and blushing!
We couldn’t express our love in words
So we hugged...
I still remember that spring of 08! When he swept me off
my feet,
Glad I ‘am.. as always... to be all yours
And only yours!

A Fairy Tale

It was just another lazy Saturday evening! Life was weird and I was just surviving, Life wasn't too exciting! … After the long nap in the afternoon... I caught up with a friend of mine from college… Her Fiancé who works with the Indian Army had come down recently for a vacation! We all decided to go for dinner… We landed up in Sea Shells, Greams Road, Chennai! The Olive Green guy wanted to play a prank on me and one of his senior officer whom he knew from his college day's … I was enjoying my dinner when I heard him speak to some army officer saying, Dude, there is someone from Radio city who wants to interview you! Little did I know that he will pass on the phone to me, I freaked and was all frozen... Army officer... you kidding me? But I've always been gaga over the army men… but still!!! ... fear was dominating. Anyways... I was being pushed to talk to him and say Hi! I forgot English ,hope u understand what I mean anyway... before I could even get back to normal... the officer introduces himself as Major Navin Benjit.. I could hardly even remember the name… everything around me looked blurr, my mouth was zipped, with so much fear and with my frozen lips I asked him what he does. (kind of a weird question for an army officer, lol) He replies. "Basically Kill People" in that commanding army tone! And I was floored… I could hardly swallow!! And that was the beginning of a beautiful love story!! ..........( to be continued )..........

Love Hurts !

Love doesn't hurt, on the contrary, it is amazing! It is the absence of mutual love that hurts.
Love is a bond between two people that goes beyond logic and reason, one that overwhelms the mind and senses enough to do things that are aporiable. But when only one person out of these two have this emotion they might not realize that the other might not reciprocate and it is this naiveity that blinds them from the plain and simple truth that they might get hurt as if they were in a relationship that doesn't mean anything what so ever! When/if they do get hurt then they can't understand why this person, who apparently loved them, did what they did. The answer is quite simple: Either that other person doesn't reciprocate or they need reminding that what they are doing to those that they love the most is in fact hurting them! If they change their ways, at least enough to show that they desperately want to try, then they love you back. If they don't then they don't love you back.
Unfortunately the word love is used far too often or perhaps the bond associated with that word is perceived to be far stronger that it actually is.

The Pursuit of happyness !!

We would much rather watch stories like that of Chris Gardner, a struggling bone density scanner salesman who lived with his young son on the streets of San Francisco for months as he pursued a career as a stock broker. Gardner’s story is a perfect example of determination and will – the unrelenting need to move forward toward making things better for himself and his son. It is a wonderful tale that embodies the spirit of those generations of the past.

Smith, who plays Gardner, co-stars for the first time ever with his young son Jaden, instantly giving authenticity to the on screen father-son relationship that is so important to the story. Jaden almost steals the show from Dad, playing cute and curious like he’s been taking notes from Dakota Fanning. Daddy Will also delivers a strong performance. He bears an likeness to the real Chris Gardner, upon whose book the film is based, and his delivery during the most disheartening moments of the film is spot on.

And it is those moments that define most of the film, leaving it a mostly depressing mess of jumbled storylines and character overdevelopment – something that can happen in the transfer from book to screen. The film takes what seems like forever to get to any signs of hope for Chris Gardner, losing the attention of the audience along the way.

la vita e bella !!

A thought that just came to me on watching the movie..Benigni tries(and succeeds) throughout the movie in keeping his son ignorant about all the malpractices in the world(remember... jews and dogs not alowed??) and the troubles they are caught up in.. for the kid.. life is all rosy...i was wondering if this is the right thing to do? he does have to live in this world and see the real picture after all.. if he is kept ignorant from the 'real picture', wont he find it difficult to deal with later, when he is forced to face the reality, especially when even his father is not going to be there with him anymore?? Or is it better to tell your child about whatever crap the world has to offer and teach him how to live beautifully even in "un-perfect" world??

The basic theme would be depicting how a person can endeavour staying happy and spirited in the most difficult situations, not losin hope, still lookin forward to a bright future...turnin dreadful reality into a beautiful enthrallin fairy tale...

But i believe, it's vitally important to bring up the child in the right manner at the right age with the right kind of support and need. Well, I believe.
"Being Positive" can fetch one many good things and that's what I feel has been Emphasised in this movie!

Only if one is Positive can one be Happy,
Only if one is Happy can one have Hope,
Only if one has Hope can one live Life,
And only if one Live Life can "Life Be Beautiful" !!!

the film is not about the father and the son they r just the metaphor in the film..the film says no matter how dificult the path is just move on with a smile on ur face..now here smile doesnt mean strechin ur lips it means deal with the tough in an intelligent and calm way and cumover all dificulties with ease

The name says it all.... Life is beautiful n its only in our hands to make it beautiful!
